dynamic healing
HEALING RITUAL
A healing ritual has a beginning, middle and end. In this experience I act as an intermediary between you and the unseen world. In the beginning we open the space and set intention. The Middle is an exploration of symptoms, diagnosis, remedy (see below), and prevention. To end we close the space, offer gratitude and dedicate the merit.
May all beings and all life benefit from our efforts to restore right relationship, balance, and harmony.
medicine ceremony
All earth based cultures throughout time and across the globe have used psychedelics in healing ceremonies. This ceremony rests in trust; trust in the container (often culturally specific), the medicine, and most importantly in your own “innate healing intelligence.” The beginning and end are much the same as a shamanic ritual. The middle, however, is different-you are having a direct experience and doing your healing work for yourself.
May I receive the healing that I need.
ripeness and timing
Astrology plays a role in “selecting” the healing that is ripe. The movement of the stars and planets are as relevant as a person’s diet and healing wish. This is true whether the healing is a shamanic ritual or a psychedelic ceremony. Although we may have clear ideas about how we want our healing to look, often the unfolding is completely surprising and better than we could have imagined.
May it be gentle and effective, timely and appropriate, powerful and helpful.
May it be so.
soul retrieval
When we experience a trauma or a shock, acute or prolonged, vulnerable soul essence can seek refuge outside of the body. Healing is restoring the essence that became untethered in the service of survival. The symptoms can be the sense that “a part of me is missing,” difficulty committing to life, lacking vitality, feeling intuition has disappeared, lacking connection with the sacred, dimished self worth, loss of meaning and purpose.
power animal retrieval
An animal species who wants to teach you something, or partner with you will either make themselves known to you in life or in a journey for power animal retrieval.
Animals have power; raw, uncorrupted, pure power. Forming an allyship with an animal and their medicine is a sure way to become both humbled and in alignment with the web of life.
The notion of a “power animal” begs the question: what is power? Where does it come from? What forms does it take? Why do some people seem to have more than others? How can I obtain power-and for what reason?
The main symptom is feeling a lack of potency in life.
extraction and cord cutting
Considered a classic shamanic healing modality, extraction is the removal of foreign or stuck energy. These energies disrupt the individual’s balance that can lead to illness, emotional distress, and loss of vitality. I include cord cutting in this category. The symptoms can be: feeling stuck, intrusive thoughts that feel foreign, unexplanable fatigue, feeling depleted after spending time with some people or in certain environments, a subjective sense of pressure in a particular part of the body, a sense of carrying something that doesn’t belong to you.
Depossession and psychopomp
“Nature abhors a vacuum.” When there are spaces in ourselves, due to soul loss, addiction, trauma-another entity may occupy the space, often in a symbiotic, yet unconscious, relationship. The aim of compassionate depossession is to restore the balance by guiding the being onto its right path, the place the dead go that is the home of their soul’s understanding. Possessing beings are not demonic-most often being ancestors or the lingering and lost dead who just need to be shown the way. The symptoms of possession can be: the feeling that something foreign is present that has influence, uncharacteristic thoughts, impulses or emotional reactions, feeling mentally foggy and disconnected, feeling watched or accompanied.
curse unraveling
Curses are thought forms or beliefs/belief systems, which limit our birthright potentials. Curses can range from vows and oaths: “I will never fall in love again!” or, “I will never leave you.” to intentionally constructed dark magic meant to cause harm. Curses can be very large in scale-think patriarchy: racist, classist, misogynist, capitalist, narcissist, etc.
The symptoms can be: bad luck, feeling and being stuck despite best efforts, persistent feelings of oppression or oppression.
